STANDARD WARRANTY COVERAGE

ELGi warrants that the air compressor package will be free of manufacturing defects and incorrect workmanship under normal operating conditions, use and service for a period of 12 months from date of start-up or 18 months from date of shipment from an ELGi warehouse in USA, whichever occurs first. Parts, labor, and transportation (normal working hours, transportation costs require pre-approval, not to exceed 100 miles each way) included.

ELGi reserves the right to request parts for review. If after examination ELGi is satisfied that the defect/s is due to faulty material or incorrect workmanship, the same will be repaired or replaced free of cost. The claim should be made in writing with ELGi or an authorized ELGi distributor before the defective part is sent to ELGi.

STANDARD WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

Warranty excludes all expendables and consumable parts (e.g. seals, O-rings, rubber/plastic elements, filters and fluids); Service replacement parts will be warranted for 90 days from the date of sale by authorized ELGI distributor.

EXTENDED WARRANTY COVERAGE

Extended Warranty coverage is applicable only on the below mentioned items

Air End: Lifetime warranty. The scope of lifetime warranty will cover replacement of parts and free of cost labor for 120 months from date of start-up or 126 months from date of shipment from an ELGi warehouse in USA, whichever occurs first. After this period, only parts of the Air End will be replaced free of cost .

Compressors operating on Air lube FG (food grade) lubricant are limited to a 60-month air end warranty only.

Main Motor: 60 months from date of start-up or 66 months from date of shipment from an ELGi warehouse, whichever occurs first. This includes parts and labor.

Cooler and Separator Tank: 60 months from date of start-up or 66 months from date of shipment from an ELGi warehouse in USA, whichever occurs first. This includes parts and labor. This applies to both air cooled and water cooled after coolers.

VFD: 60 months from date of start-up or 66 months from date of shipment from an ELGi warehouse, whichever occurs first. This includes parts and labor.

PORTABLE COMPRESSORS

All portable compressors must be taken to the appropriate warranty service center. To find the local service center, you must contact Elgi at 704-523-4123. 

All Engines are covered by the Engine Manufacturer and they must go to the engine warranty center. To find the nearest engine warranty center, call 704-523-4123.
